Helmet fit matters

Fit It Right. Ride It Better.

A helmet only protects properly when it sits correctly, straps securely, and stays stable while your child rides.

How A Helmet Should Fit

Use these quick checks before every ride. The helmet should feel secure, not loose, tilted, or uncomfortable.
How A Helmet Should Fit
1

Two-finger forehead gap

The helmet should sit low on the forehead, roughly two fingers above the eyebrows.

2

Level, not tilted

It should sit straight on the head, not pushed backward or dropped over the eyes.

3

Snug side fit

The helmet should feel secure without pinching or causing pressure points.

4

Secure chin strap

The strap should be tight enough that only one or two fingers fit underneath.

If the helmet moves around easily, slides over the eyes, or feels painful, adjust the fit before the ride starts.

Simple Adjustment Routine

A quick parent check can prevent most bad-fit problems. Make this a habit before scooters, cycles, and outdoor play.
Step 1

Place it level

Put the helmet flat on the head, sitting low enough to protect the forehead.

Step 2

Tighten the dial

Adjust the rear dial or inner fit system until the helmet feels stable.

Step 3

Lock the strap

Fasten the chin strap and check that the helmet does not wobble during movement.

When To Change Size

Kids grow fast. Do not keep using a helmet just because it still looks new.
01

Helmet wobbles

If it shifts easily after adjustment, the size or fit is wrong.

02

Straps feel maxed out

If the straps cannot be adjusted comfortably, move to a better size.

03

Child feels pressure

A helmet should feel snug, not painful. Pressure marks mean the fit is wrong.
